Gamer's Corner
Welcome to the debut of Gamer's Corner, where I'll talk about games of course. I'll post reviews, gaming information, the lot. I thought to kick off this section with my own personal review of a game.
I admit freely that I'm not much of a gamer, but I've found a game that I am addicted to. It's called "Dragon Age: Origins" and it's an RPG game (FYI for all: this game is rated M for Mature). In the game, you create either a human, elf, or dwarf character and go through the land of Ferelden beating back the evil creatures called the Darkspawn. In the end, you have to battle the Archdemon. It's a fun game with hours worth of play involved. What I really like about it is that your character interacts with various others in the game and there is a host of conversation choices during these interactions. How that other character reacts is solely based on what conversation choice you pick. The expansion set, "Dragon Age: Awakenings" came out this week and from what I've played so far, it's just as good as the original.
Feel free to tell me the game you're currently hooked on and why.

SLJ Battle of the Books
Once more, School Library Journal is hosting a Battle of the Books. Teen & children's authors judge each round until only one winner is left standing. Last year, the book that took the prize was The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Feel free to follow along at the link below:

I have a feeling Rick Riordan's The Last Olympian might win this year.

I Want Your Feedback
I know many people read this blog, but not many comment. That doesn't bother me, but today I am asking for comments. I want everyone who reads this to complete this phrase: I love my library because...
If you would do this, it would be beyond appreciated.
